Don King Productions to bring world championship boxing to PMH

CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT OF BOXING IN WARREN, OHIO;

HOMECOMING AT LAST! TO BE HELD SATURDAY, JANUARY 29TH

 

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL (January 3, 2022)—The World’s Greatest Boxing promoter, Don King, has put together a blockbuster championship night of boxing in his home state of Ohio on Saturday, Jan. 29.

Tickets for the night of boxing set for the W.D. Packard Music Hall in Warren, OH will go on sale Tuesday at Ticketmaster or the W.D. Packard Music Hall.  The tickets will be priced at $550, $350, $250, $175 and $80 (plus applicable fees).

Homecoming At Last! The fight for the forgotten people (the homeless, poor, and downtrodden people) will benefit from this championship doubleheader.

The main event will pit WBC Cruiserweight Champion Ilunga Junior Makabu (28-2 with 25 KOs) and the number one challenger, WBC Silver Champion Thabiso Mchunu (23-5, 13 KOs).   The winner is hopeful of the opportunity to fight World Champion Canelo Alvarez.

King will announce several championship fights soon to be added to the card.

In addition to the championship bouts, a special 10-round heavyweight sensational attraction will pit undefeated Jonathan Guidry (18-0-2, 10 KOs) of Dulac, Louisiana risking his perfect record against Alonzo Butler (34-3-2, 25 KOs) of Chattanooga, TN.
