Maxwell King is the former President of the Pittsburgh Foundation and the Heinz Endowments.  From 1999 to 2008, he led the disbursements of about $500 million in grants primarily in western Pennsylvania.  His lecture on The Good Neighbor:  The Life and Work of Fred Rogers changed the face of children’s television.  The first full length biography of Fred Rogers is the definitive portrait of a beloved figure, cherished by multiple generations.
